God Makes All Things Possible

About four years ago, God started me in a new season of my life. I had recently found myself in a new home, in new surroundings, and in need of a new career. So I prayed this: “GOD, in my new job, please allow me to practice my Spanish and to help others, and please do not make me a sales person.” The Lord answered my prayer, but as we all know, He has a sense of humor.
I became one of the top ten producing agents at my office. I had the perfect job. Although it was in sales, I considered myself more of an educator. I was happy and content, more so than I could have ever imagined.

After the recession started, GOD spoke to me and told me it was time to leave my comfort zone and start my own business. I asked GOD, “People are losing their jobs now and you want me to start a new business?” He said, “Yes, Good Faith Insurance Services will be a testimony to let others know that the world’s economy is not GOD’s economy.”

After prayer and fasting, my husband and I both had the same answer: “Do it and trust HIM.” Within two months, Good Faith Insurance Services started to operate at a very affordable location. It was incorporated and even though other agencies like ours sold their first policy within two months, we sold our first policy within the first three weeks.

We were already showing a significant net income after paying back our investor in the first six months of business. This is unheard of, since it usually takes about three years before a new business starts producing income. Our second year of earnings tripled even after investing a little more on equipment and payroll. We are now heading into our third year as a debt-free company. We will have financial stability for the next ten years, even if we do not sell another policy.

We are in the process of adding four independent agents to help us with the demand, as it’s becoming more than I can handle on my own. GOD has been so faithful through this process all because we (my family and I) obeyed and trusted Him.

I am so grateful for GOD’s blessings and cannot stop thanking Him for all He has done. I was born in Quito, Ecuador S.A. (a third world country), and I remember when my mother told us that we were having our last meal because we had no more food. Now, I own Good Faith Insurance Services and have prospered greatly all because “with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37, NKJV).
